My actual recommendation is: Use an application like " Bulk Crap Uninstaller" or "Revo Uninstaller Free" in the moment you want to uninstall a program, that will take care of remove any unnecessary traces they might leave behind, including registry entries. In ancient times, the registry was "an issue" to deal with and it was convenient to keep it clean and lean to not "slow down" the Windows Operation System.īut nowadays it's hard to do anything to really mess it up, at least with the available software tools on the market and they are not mandatory. From my experience, Windows 10 and 11 doesn't suffer for having a "fatter" registry.
